I'm just chillin here, eating my last few pieces of Halloween candy (Jaw breakers, those always seam to be the last ones standing from the Halloween loot. Not to fond of them) And listening to "Don't stop believing" by Journey.

How was my Halloween, you ask?... Well, I'll tell you! :)

Monday night (Halloween) Me, Me sissy Kashée, and me friend McKayla (pretty much sissy) Went trick or treating around the neighborhood dressed up as trash. We took black garbage bags (Not used, of course), cut holes in them for our head and arms, and then taped candy wrappers to them :)

Along the way of our adventure we found two little girls from our ward who are 12 and 11, we let them tag along with us so we could make sure they got home safe and all that, And in return they showed us ware all the good houses where that passed out big candy bars! :)

Then along our adventure after we took the two little girls home this car pulls up and starts shooting something at us... It turns out to be my friends Tyler, Braden, and Terrence. They where shooting marshmallows at us with their marshmallow guns. So we went along with them... We sat in the back while Braden shot trick-or-treaters with marshmallows, and we had the music blasting with the windows rolled down. Yeah.... we pretty much had fun!

My adventures in the pageant

So I figured I would catch you all... Well, probably no one... up on the peach queen pageant. I didn't make it, Which I am totally ok with because some of my good friends made it! 2nd attendant- Michelle Dean. 1st attendant- Rachel Kenedy. Peach Queen- Andrea DeFriez!
These girls did AMAZING in the pageant and they worked really hard for it!

During the pageant I learned so many new things. I thought I knew how to walk ever sense I was a little toddler... Yeah, I was wrong. They taught me how to walk properly and it is way hard! I also learned how to present my self, how to be professional, and ever sense the pageant I've been able to express myself more then I use to. The other thing that I loved about the pageant is I made 20 new friends not counting the host moms. I love them all so much and miss being with them every week.

When I was on stage I had SoOoO much fun, I was never nervous. My thinking was "I'm going to go onstage and have fun, no matter what happens I want this to be a good experience. So I'm going to have fun." The cool thing was, that when I did my talent which was a piano solo "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton.. It seamed like no one was in the room. I felt like I was at home on my favorite piono playing my heart out and having fun. Then when I was done and stood up, I realized "Wow, I didn't think that people where watching me" But I think my mom was the one that was nervous for the both of us. Dad said that every time I came on stage she would clenched her fingers onto her seat and take a deep breath, every time!

I didn't win any scholarships except a $300 scholarship for attending the pageant, I wish I would have gotten at least one more, but I'm glad I got what I got.

After the pageant was done and a few days later my Dad told me that he was talking to some people who knew the judges and they said that if I wouldn't have messed up on my on-stage question, I would have at least been one of the attendants in royalty... Man that sucked to hear that. Cause I did HORRIBLE on my on-stage question. I got a question that was something like "Who is the state representative and how do you feel about the things he does for us?" Or something like that... I studied everything except that, I looked up who the mayor and his council members where, who the governor and lieutenant governor is, the president and vice president. EVERYTHING, but that. So this is how I answered it "I honestly don't know who he is, but I do know that he is doing a wonderful job at taking care of us." Yeah, that was wonderful... and then come to find out, the guy was sitting in the third row. His daughter was one of the contestants. Lovely, huh?

But aside from that horrible question, it was all and all a great experience and I would do it again. I'm actually thinking about doing it in two years, but we will have to see how things go! 

One of my favorite parts of the pageant was that one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Zach, bought a ticket just so he could come watch me in the pageant. That to me was HUGE, that he wanted to be there for me on a night that was so important to me! :) He's one amazing friend!

Also, I just want to end buy saying, thanks to everyone who supported me and stood there beside me through the whole thing, especially my wonderful parents! And I would have to say that it wouldn't have been the same without my two big brothers sitting in the front of the audience cheering as loud as they could for me saying "WAY TO GO CHAUCHO!!" Man did I smile when I heard that :)

Hot knees

So, a couple weeks ago my friend McKayla calls me up... "Hey I got phantomed (We phantomed her) Do you want to come help me phantom other people?" So I said "Yeah I'd love to!"

In the dark of the night, me in my WHITE (Yes, I said white) coat, and McKayla in her BLACK coat, we phantomed 2 people, then we get to the third house. We couldn't tell if they where home or not, so we ran to the door, sat the cookies on the porch, rang the doorbell, AND RAN FOR OUR LIVES!!!!!!.... Yeah, they weren't home......Well, as I was running in the road my shoe fell off and I tripped in the road. We would have hid behind a tree or something, but no, there front yard is a pile of weeds. So I get up from falling in the road, go inside McKayla's house, look at my knees and THIS is what I found

Now 2 weeks later, my knees are not all the way healed but they are improving very much :) The cool thing is, that I will have some SICK scares!!!

Peach Queen

Well Everyone... I am now officially a contestant in the Peach Queen pageant!!
I'm so excited!! So far I've gone to two workshops, got my host mom, got my contestant number (9), got my pictures taken, and turned in ALL of my paperwork (over 10 pages!!!)

Next week I'm going to have a mock interview and they are going to teach me how to do better in my interviews! The interviews are 40% of your score!!!! So I have to have my interview DOWN!!!

The pageant is September 8th So I've got a while but still it's coming up SOON and I still have to put my talent together! I'm going to do a piano comedy Victor Borge style (: 

I'M EXCITED!!!!

Run, run, run as fast as you can.. You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man (:

RUNNING!!!

I thought the day would never come that I could run more then two houses without dying.. and actually like it. Well, I started running with my friend Kirsten and Teaza when school got out... So about a month now of running. Now, I don't run every day cause sometimes I get lazy, But I try to go as much as I can (: Today we had a relay race and we each ran a totally of 1 1/2 miles per person. Then we did a TON of lunges.... MAN is my legs going to be sore in the morning.

I really want to start getting in the habit of running every day.. Because it gives me something to do, and when I run it gives me time to clear my head and think... It's almost like the whole world around me has STOPED and given me time to myself and time to think things out.. It's the most wonderful feeling 

ever!!  I LOVE IT!!! Also.. Maybe if I run every day I will find something new that I love.. I mean, I like running but I don't LOVE it. So I'm hoping one day i will love it. (: haha, Kinda funny that I'm trying to force myself to love something (: Oh well... It's worth a try.

BATC COSMETOLOGY!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! 

I've been going to cosmetology ever sense the beginning of my junior year which is less then a year. Right now I'm taking summer classes there. It kinda sucks that I don't have much of a summer and most of my summer is dedicated to SCHOOL. But hey, what else would I be doing if I wasn't at school all day..... NOTHING! So it gives me something to do during the day. (:

TODAY'S ADVENTURES AT BATC

A few weeks ago the "Summer Games" started! We had a perm race to see who could wrap a perm the fastest. Yodit was 1st, of course. (shes the fastest out of all of us put together) Janessa was 2nd, Woot woot! Go Janessa! And then I was 3rd (: 
We all got little gifts and a free signature facial down at esthetics!
So today me and Janessa went and got our free facial, which was amazing by the way!

Also, my friend MaryJane is going to let me give her a scalp treatment next week, and then in a few weeks she is going to let me dye her hair cause she knows I really want to!! Which I'm super duper excited about (: And the way she wants it done is so cute, I can't wait to see how it will turn out!

The only thing that sucked about today was that at lunch there was a HUGE line for the microwave and there is only ONE microwave cause the second one broke ): so by the time it was my turn to use it, I only had like 15 minutes to hurry and shove my food down my throat.

But over all I think today has been a pretty darn good day!

 I am in Youth City Council and just the other day I went to the swearing in ceremony... So I am now officially one of the council memebers!!!!!!

I love being in YCC Because I'm with my friends, I get to serve the community, and most importantly I have fun while doing it! (:

A few weeks ago I went with the Young Women in my ward to the Logan Utah temple. I didn't get to go in because I sat out side with my friend who didn't have her recommend. But we had a blast, and the Temple is so beautiful!... See for your self

Grandpa Superman!

   Yesterday morning my Great Grandpa Donald died. The past few years he was really struggling with his health and over the years it just started to get worse and worse till finally he died in his sleep.
   Growing up I didn't really get to know my Grandpa Stephen, he died when I was a little kid. So I don't have very many memories of Grandpa Stephen, But I have lots of memories of my Great Grandpa Donald.
   Every year around Christmas time he would have a family party at his house, I always looked forward to going to that party. There would be the three F's..... family, food, and fun! I also remember when I was little I would always look forward to that family party because he had this dancing Rodolph, that when you would clap your hands Rodolph would dance, sing, and his little nose would light up too. And every year Grandpa would put that dancing Rodolph up because all the grandchildren loved it.
   I also remember that every year at that family Christmas party he would give all the grandchildren money, every year I would get $5, and every year I never got to spend that money because my mom and dad would put all my brothers and sisters money together to buy something for the whole family. Which I was ok with as I got older but when I was younger I was not happy about that.
   One thing that I loved about Grandpa was he would attend every church event for our family and for our cousins. I remember that he came to my baptism, and that really meant a lot to me. It probably didn't mean all that much to me back when I was younger, but now that I think back It means the world to me. and even though I was only a little baby and I don't remember anything, I'm betting he came to my baby blessing to, because that is how much he loves his family.
   I can honestly say that it was hard for me to see Grandpa when he was struggling with his health, because as he got worse it got hard for him to do things, and when you would talk to him it was hard for him to talk with you. And the reason it was hard for me to see him like that, was because all my life I grew up with a happy, healthy grandpa that could do everything. Nothing was imposable for him. He was strong, active, and took care of his family no matter what. To me, he was superman and still is. Some of the things that made him superman was his love for his family, and the love his family had for him. His testimony in the gospel, and that he honored his priesthood.
   I love my Grandpa and will miss him greatly, so will everyone else that was touched by him in there life. He served our country because he cared, and he will always be remembered.

16 Days ago I turned 17.

I didn't do much for my birthday except have a family party with cake and ice cream and then after that I went to my friend Tanae's house and we spray painted white shirts for Morp which was the next day. Wasn't much, but I had fun!!!
